This is all new to me. I'm wondering if everybody can look at new blogs? Comment? Is it just for private use? These answers will come.
Right now I'm at work. I work as a nurse supervisor at a state psychiatric hospital. It's definitely not boring! I have a fantastic staff and I really do love my job (most days). I like feeling as though I can brighten someone's day. To balance the often ongoing crisis like atmosphere of my job, I sell jewelry. My daughter Becky even made me a website! It started out as a way to make a little extra money to pay for diapers and formula for her baby, Zachary, but there have been other wonderful little side benefits. Let me explain. In a nutshell, I hate greed. I love generosity. I don't mind making less money than I could as long as another person is happy because of something I did. Jewelry stores jack up wholesale prices from 400% to 1000%!! That's just plain greedy. I mark things up just enough to buy a pack of diapers or a can of formula. Some people think I'm crazy, and maybe I am, but I sure love the looks on my customer's faces when they get something nice for far less than they expected to pay. Also, I have more than enough jewelry for myself, to give to my daughters, daughters in law, sister and mom for birthdays and Christmas, and "just because". Life is good.
