A Southern Transplant ~ An Introduction

Hi, my name is Lynn. I'm originally from California. Ten years ago we moved to North Carolina as a family with our six children, a dog with eight puppies, and two cats. Things have changed! The children have all grown up, some have married, some have children of their own. The husband left for a single lifestyle with a woman who had never been married and had no children. Luckily, I'm a nurse so I always had a way to keep our heads above water. The kids kept growing. Birthday after birthday, graduation after graduation, wedding after wedding. For about four weeks I actually had an empty nest, and then the adult children with babies of their own needed a place to stay.......or needed their Mom. Now I live in a lovely two bedroom apartment with my youngest daughter and her son, my only grandson. Daughter will be giving birth to yet another grandson in January. Where are we going to put everybody? I'm thinking that maybe writing about all the twists and turns will help me figure that out...
