Walk For Lupus

Today I challenged myself in the Walk for Lupus, Raleigh/Durham region. My DD Suzanne had volunteered to become team captain from her job, because one of her co workers also has lupus, and for me :-) I feel loved! The route was 3.2 miles around Lake Lynn. Very picturesque, with ducks, geese, swans and even turtles watching us! I surprised myself by being less tired and sore than I thought I would be. Go me. Since nobody else reads this blog, I can pat myself on the back once in a while, can't I? My feet and hands swelled up, but maybe that's normal? I don't know. Anyway, it was fun and I got to meet a lot of Suzanne's co workers.

It's almost midnight, and I need to get some sleep!
